At WBCF’s PIE hub, we facilitate and support high-quality research and evaluation with and by the VCFSE sector and the communities across Wigan Borough.

We work alongside communities to support positive change through research that is relevant, practical, and rooted in real lived experiences. Our focus is on research and evaluation that is useful to the VCFSE sector and reflects the needs and priorities of the people it serves.

We’re committed to engaging communities, shaping futures, through high quality, current and relevant research and evaluation that is useful and valuable to the sector, and the wider system it supports.

By working in partnership with the VCFSE sector, public services, and Community Researchers, we are building trusted networks across Wigan. These connections help people share learning, skills, and experiences, strengthening both the sector and local communities.
